What is this book about?

A Life No One Will Remember. A Story You Will Never Forget.

France, 1714: in a moment of desperation, a young woman makes a Faustian bargain to live forever and is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets.

Thus begins the extraordinary life of Addie LaRue, and a dazzling adventure that will play out across centuries and continents, across history and art, as a young woman learns how far she will go to leave her mark on the world.

But everything changes when, after nearly 300 years, Addie stumbles across a young man in a hidden bookstore and he remembers her name.

What I thought of it?

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Format: hardback

I expected to love this book because I simply adore V.E. Schwab, but this exceeded my expectations!

Schwab’s writing was so beautiful, it felt like she managed to mix poetry into prose and maybe everyone as said that, but it’s because it’s true.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue felt as timeless as Addie herself, yet, I could never forget this book, or Addie. Her story was just thought provoking yet it felt so natural and so relatable.

This is a novel, a work of fiction, and yet it felt like so much more at the same time.
