What is this book about?

All books in the series can be read as stand-alones.

College was supposed to be my chance to get over my ugly-duckling complex and spread my wings. Instead, I wound up in a sorority full of mean girls. I already have a hard time fitting in, so when my Kappa Chi sisters issue the challenge, I can’t say no.

The dare: seduce the hottest new hockey player in the junior class.

Conor Edwards is a regular at Greek Row parties…and in Greek Row sorority beds. He’s the one you fall for before you learn that guys like him don’t give girls like me a second glance. Except Mr. Popular throws me for a loop—rather than laughing in my face, he does me a solid by letting me take him upstairs to pretend we’re getting busy.

Even crazier, now he wants to keep pretending. Turns out Conor loves games, and he thinks it’s fun to pull the wool over my frenemies’ eyes.

But resisting his easy charm and surfer-boy hotness is darn near impossible. Though I’m realizing there’s much more to Conor’s story than his fan club can see.

And the longer this silly ruse goes on, the greater the danger of it all blowing up in my face.

What I thought of it?

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Format: ebook

I loved this book so much more than I thought I would, and don’t get me wrong, there were some flaws, but I loved the characters so so much that I didn’t mind one bit!

I just loved Taylor’s character for so many reasons, but the main one is that I never related so much with a character, because of her body type, but also because of her insecurities.

And Conor was just an amazing character, from what we had seen from the previous books, I expected to find him funny but I did not expect to completely fall for him! I mean, to use Taylor’s own words, Conor fucking Edwards was just the perfect character for her. He was patient and so sweet with her and I never thought I would ship two people so much!

I have to say, I am not a huge fan of drama, and this book definitely had some in it, but somehow I didn’t mind that much. I usually get frustrated with characters who miscommunicate, but at the very end of the book, I truly understood Taylor and her reasons behind it, that I actually enjoyed that bit of drama. And by enjoy, I mean that my heart was beating so fast and I was tearing up, but that was part of the five starts reading experience for me.

So, overall, this last book of the series was another example of Elle Kennedy playing with my emotions, breaking my heart, making me literally laugh at loud and then filling my heart with happiness.
